About Me

About Me

I’m a classically trained chef with an IT project management background, which is a strange combination of skills, I admit. However, it turns out it works very well for a wedding planner. I understand logistics and food, timelines and people, what can go wrong and, more importantly, how to fix it, fast.

I believe the best weddings aren’t the most expensive ones or the ones with the most details. They’re the ones where the couple gets to enjoy their own wedding day because someone else is managing the chaos. That’s the job and, I love it.

I’m Welsh, originally from Llandudno. I met my husband, got married, had kids, and 10 years ago, we moved to Spain. Our own wedding in 2012 was a complete disaster and not in a “we’ll laugh-about-it-later” way, we still hate it to this day. The vendors didn’t communicate, timelines collapsed, nothing went as planned and, I was 13 weeks pregnant with my son causing extreme sickness. I’m not going to let that happen to you. Although, I can’t be held responsible for the creation of small people in the weeks before the wedding, that’s on you.

Since then, I’ve been running weddings the way I’d run any complex project: with clear timelines, communication protocols, contingency plans, and someone taking charge who gives a damn whether it works. I’ve also been in professional kitchens, so I understand keeping cool in high-pressure environments and ensuring things run smoothly and on time despite that. This combination of skills has become invaluable in this job.

Outside of weddings, I’m a wife, a mother, an animal lover. I paint, I crochet, I sing. I spend my days off sipping wine in the Spanish sunshine. I’m not going to promise you that planning a wedding is stress-free because that would be misleading. But, I will promise you that you’ll know exactly what’s happening, that decisions will get made in your best interest and, that on your wedding day, you get to be present with your person and your guests instead of juggling all of the wedding day logistics.

I read once that there’s only two days in a person’s life where everyone they love is in the same room. One is your wedding day and the other one is your funeral and, you’ll only experience one of them. It is my honour to make sure you experience that day as fully as possible.
